We witness many stars come and go, but yesterday, one of Japan's baseball greats has rested his bat. Kazuhiro Kiyohara rose to stardom back in 1983 where he was still in high school dominating the scene for 3 years with his partner Masumi Kuwata. After turning pro, he led Seibu Lions to a impressive 8 times league champions and 6 times Japan Series Champions. In 1997, he moved to his all time dream team Yomiuri Giants being a key player taking the Giants twice to the top of Japan but struggled all the way due to severe injuries, eventually leaving the team to his final destination, the Buffaloes. He will be missed.
